SheetTamer Takes Shape

Bill Cuevas·August 2026·2 min read

What we accomplished

  1. We built the SheetTamer spreadsheet integrity funnel: a checker, an API, email capture, and a deploy.
  2. We bundled the checker for the browser, so a workbook can be tested in the visitor's own browser.
  3. We built a real portal with accounts, firms, teams and saved history, invite and reset emails, an idle timeout, and single use reset tokens.
  4. We added paths for different businesses, so each visitor starts in the right place.
  5. We built the deploy for the product's own domain and linked the marketing site to it.
  6. We hardened the production stack: non root containers, an isolated socket, TLS and security headers, and a frame ancestors policy.
  7. We added backups of every product database and a portal health check.
  8. We put the single host environment into code, with a deployment runbook.

August showed we can take a product from nothing to a deployable portal in days, which is how we approach a custom software build.
